1. The Patient should keep his injured Knee on the Padded Seat; make sure that the Knee is safely placed on the cushion with ankle resting on the rear end of the padded seat.
  2. The Patient should propel the knee walker by the able foot.
  3. To steer the Knee walker the user takes one step forward with the good leg and then either steers the knee walker by turning the handle or by lifting the handle up and turning it in the desired direction.
  4. The Brakes on a Knee walker are meant to be used sparingly; patient should at all times be able to stop the knee walker with their able foot. This is to ensure that Patients are not going too fast on the Knee walker as that could lead to another injury.
